EDDIE has been waiting a long time for a family to find him!!

EDDIE is we think, a Jack Russell/Fox Terrier mix.  He is about 2-3 yrs old and has been in rescue since May of 2007.  Eddie is full of energy and loves to play with other dogs.  He is quite interested in our cat but has never hurt her. He is good with mychildren but still a little mouthy and so as always with any dog and children, should be supervised.  Eddie does have a few quirks which is probably why he is still here.  He does not like some men.  Only some and it is difficult to discern which ones, whether it is a tone of voice or a smell, it seems he may have been treated not so nicely by a man at some point in his life. He adores women.  Eddie is an affectionate guy that would love to be your lap dog. He only weighs about 20 lbs!  He does still chew and would need appropriate items that he can chew.  He needs supervision as he will chew things that are inappropriate left unsupervised for long periods. He requires a fenced yard or would need to be leash walked as he originally was a stray and might run off again.
Eddie would be an AMAZING dog for agility or fly ball if someone had the time to train him. He can fly when he wants to!

Eddie was rescued from a high kill shelter.  He is fully vetted; Neutered, Up to date on shots, heartworm negative and on preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks.
Please e-mail us if you would be interested in EDDIE, karie@animalprotector.com.  His adoption donation is 145.00 to help defer vet expenses.  We require an application, reference and home check prior to adoption.
