ELI was an owner turn in quite a while ago.
ELI was adopted to a family but was returned after a month or two due to some personality issues. ELI, it seems, is a dominant
dog that needs a firm experienced owner. He tries to dominate not only the other dogs but also the owners. ELI is a
dog that needs BOUNDARIES, that means he sleeps in a crate, NOT on the bed. This means he needs exercise and obediance
training follow through. He is absolutely fine at his foster home and respects all humans there. But he will take
advantage of any situation that allows him to move up in the pack. For the right person, ELI would make a wonderful
companion. He gets along well with the other dogs, is fine with cats but we are recommending older children only (teen
age).
ELI is housetrained and craterained at his foster home.

ELI is completely vetted; Neutered, up to date on shots and heartworm negative, he is also
on preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks. He is a nice size dog at about 35-40 lbs.
If you might be interested in ELI, please e-mail us at karie@animalprotector.com. We require a pre-adoption application, vet reference, home visit and adoption contract.
